Common enquiries

Can I post my coat to you?

We accept garments by post, though we recommend in-person drop-off when possible. This allows us to discuss any concerns directly and show you examples of previous restoration work. If posting, please ensure adequate protective packaging and consider insurance for valuable items.

How long does treatment typically take?

Standard cleaning usually requires five to seven working days. Restoration work varies significantly based on the extent of repair needed, ranging from two weeks to several months for complex projects.

Do you provide estimates before beginning work?

Yes. We assess each garment and provide a written estimate covering all anticipated work. If we discover additional issues during treatment, we contact you before proceeding with work beyond the original estimate.

What if my coat is very old or fragile?

We regularly work with vintage and delicate garments. In some cases, we may recommend against treatment if we believe the risk of damage outweighs potential benefits. Honesty about limitations is part of our service.
